The house offers a relaxing break from the daily grind we often experience in cities. The calming pace of life in the area will soothe your stresses away. The town and surrounding areas offer a fantastic view and atmosphere that inspires tranquility. Apart from the clear and sensational view of the stars, landscape and sea, there is a huge amount of activities on offer that can be organised. In the town and surrounding areas, there are beautiful mountain ranges; Monte de los Frailes, Barranco de Añavingo, La piedra del Barranco etc. Guided (I can organise these) or unguided walks through the volcanic and pine area, are absolutely breathtaking! The village and its surroundings has many local bars and restaurants and has a very recently built auditorium where you can find many cultural activities such as art and craft classes, displays and musiclal performances. I can also organise scuba diving, dolphin and whale watching trips! Driving to Teide and watching the sun rise over the seven islands is spectacular and a must. Arafo is very close to several beaches, El Socorro, Candelaria and El Puertito and only 26kms from the capital Santa Cruz where the shops, Sunday market, famous golden beach and newly opened auditorium designed by Calatrava can be found. The north of the island with its mystical rainforests is only a few kilometres away from the capital and easily accessed by car, bus or taxi.
